Errol Musk, father of billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk joined Al Arabiya News presenter Tom Burges-Watson to talk about his son’s comments on UK politics, including his suggestion that the UK Reform UK party needs a new leader, claiming Nigel Farage is not fit for the role.

Burges-Watson also pressed Errol on funding the UK Reform party, compared UK far-right activist Tommy Robinson to Nelson Mandela, and predicts UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer won’t be in a job next month.

Errol shares his son’s criticism of UK MP Nigel Farage, calling his efforts on grooming gangs ‘no good,’ while questioning whether Farage has the strength needed to lead the UK out of its economic and social crisis. Errol said, “It doesn’t come across to me that he has the strength. This was followed up by Elon saying that he thinks Farage is no good. I mean, Elon was, basically thinking of the poor showing that for hours just made with the grooming gangs for rape. And then, of course, the fact that Tommy Robinson is in solitary confinement for 18 months, for doing more or less nothing.”

Errol Musk compares UK far-right activist Tommy Robinson to Nelson Mandela, claiming that history will one day view Robinson as a future Prime Minister, despite his controversial reputation. “Tommy Robinson is the person to look to”, Errol said, “You’ve got a man who put his his life on the line, and that’s Tommy Robinson, who very likely, if you look at the history in the world for the last 20 years and beyond, and before that, even, Tommy Robinson is very likely going to be the prime minister of England in due course.

”If you take our country, for example, in 1963, Nelson Mandela was sentenced to life imprisonment after his death sentence was commuted. And, if you sit in those days, he’s going to be the president of South Africa. One day, people would have actually thought you were off your head.

“You must realise that in those days, Nelson Mandela was an absolute scoundrel as far as the country was concerned. He was not a great person. We weren’t. They wanted to hang him. So when we come back to Tommy Robinson, it requires a little bit of a broader frame of mind to understand what I’m saying. What happens in history when you take your political opponents and lock them up on spurious charges? Then you start to look at who it is they are locking up.”

When Burges-Watson asked Errol about Reform party and funding, Errol replied, “Reform [The Reform Party] is good. And, you know, we’ll still provide funds for them, either by lending the money or giving the money what it is allowed. But, no, no, Reform is very good.”

Errol predicts UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer “won’t make it to the end of February,” calling the situation in the UK “out of control”

“The situation is way beyond just doing little inquiries and things. The situation is out of control. You want my theory? He won’t make it until the end of February.”
