The US President elect Donal Trump has warned that the Joe Biden administration allowing Ukraine to strike deep inside Russia is dangerous.

Trump said during an interview with Time that Ukraine is escalating the war and President Volodymyr Zelensky is “making it worse.”

Trump told Time, “I disagree very vehemently with sending missiles hundreds of miles into Russia. Why are we doing that? We’re just escalating this war and making it worse.”

Trump insisted that the decision to allow Kyiv to use long-range missiles into Russia “should not have been allowed to be done,” he added, this was “a very big mistake.”

Trump criticised Kyiv, he said, “I think the most dangerous thing right now is what’s happening, where Zelenskyy has decided, with the approval of, I assume, the President, to start shooting missiles into Russia.

“I think that’s a major escalation. I think it’s a foolish decision.”

Following Ukraine’s recent ATACMS missile attack on the Russian Taganrog airfield the Kremlin has warned that they will retaliate.

The Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “I’d like to recall the statement the Russian Defense Ministry made unequivocally yesterday saying that there will be a response.”

Peskov said they will make a response to Ukraine when and how Russia thinks fit, warning “it will definitely follow.”

On Wednesday morning Ukraine struck deep inside Russia’s Rostov region and attacked the Taganrog airfield using six ATACMS missiles injuring several personnel.
