The Moldovan President Maia Sandu has said that they are considering seizing their power station in the contested region of Transnistria.

The Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Christmas Day that Moldova blames Russia for the “cessation of gas supplies” and as result could seize the power plant.

Zakharova said at a briefing on Wednesday, “The Sandu regime plans to exploit the energy crisis in the country to forcefully address the Transnistrian issue.

“They unequivocally blame Russia for the cessation of gas supplies and are seriously considering seizing the Moldovan power plant in Transnistria by force. The SVR (Russian Foreign Intelligence Service – TASS) thoroughly discussed this matter.”

Vladimir Putin’s attack dog continued, “It is clear that under such a scenario, the Russian peacekeeping presence in the region will be jeopardised, and the residents of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic will find themselves in the position of actual hostages. “For what? We should ask her some questions.”

The Moldovan President Sandu confirmed on Christmas Day a Russian missile entered their airspace as a result of the “deliberate” attack.

Ukraine‘s Air Force confirmed that a Russian missile was heading towards the western town of Chernivtsi from Moldova.
